This past Saturday we enjoyed the rare sunny day here in Portland by actually driving two hours out of town to fish at Harriet Lake for the day. It was fun to get our raft out of the garage and for me to row around while Scott fished. He even let me fish a bit and was the captain of the raft. Thank goodness we went on Saturday too because Sunday brought showers and temperatures back down to the 50s. Where is spring?
Here I am carefully getting my fish out of the net, I have had a few flop over the edge on me in the past.
Ta da!
Scott's last cast before rowing back to shore at the end of the day landed him a native brown trout!
Now we are back to the work week and Scott is in Panama City, Panama for the week and I am in good ole' Portland holding down the fort. Bump pictures to come soon!
