To start day two off, we enjoyed a three hour bike tour through the Tourism de Barcelona. Our guide, Miguel, told us fun facts about various monuments and the improvements to the city for the 1992 Olympics. If you go to Barcelona, we highly recommend checking out the tours available.

Beaches: Prior to Barcelona hosting the Olympics there was only one small beach in Barcelona that you had to pay to enter. For the Olympics they covered the rocky shore with concrete and brought in sand to build the beach that you see above.
