Something Scott and I enjoy about living abroad is seeing the different types of architecture in various countries. We appreciate the clean lines, simple colors, shutters and copper accents of the homes in our village. Here are a few pictures of our favorites.
This solid wood door always catches my eye, I can't wait to see it when the vine is in bloom.
Blue seems to be the most common color of shutters after natural wood.
The tree in the court yard is just starting to bloom.
This is the mansion of Soral. It even has a gate. You may also notice they keep Santa up all year round, he is hanging from the roof on the second level. We notice the Swiss keep their Christmas decorations up for a long time, if not all year.
This home is always so clean and put together, we like the blue gate.
This home is actually not in Soral, but in a neighboring village. We saw it during one of our bike rides and had to take a picture since it has a thatch roof.
