Cableway to Murren

To reach Murren you have a two options, you can either take the mountain railway from Lauterbrunnen or you can ride the aerial cableway from Stechelberg to Gimmelwald to Murren. Notice that neither option included your car. We chose to take the aerial cableway which made me a little nervous since I have acquired a fear of heights recently in life. I am pleased to report I made it without any breakdowns and even conquered greater heights later in our trip.

  1. STUNNING pictures! What a beautiful place to visit on a summer day. Isn't Eiger the big mountain that so many mountain climbers talk about?
Terrific side trip for the two of you.
