Recap of Dublin

We are back in Geneva after a quick trip to Dublin.  Has anyone ever told you it rains there?  Actually, it can pour there, more than Portland.  Even though the weather was gray (which we expected) we enjoyed the city.  Now we are packing for our trips back to Oregon and trying to get as much laundry done as possible before our early wake up call tomorrow morning.
We loved our hotel, The Schoolhouse, thank you to Tim and Sondra for the recommendation
Had a beer at the famous The Temple Bar
We enjoyed riding the double decker buses around town and always sat on the top level in the front
Took the tour at The Guinness Storehouse, which is very well done
Had to take a photo of this during the tour (Scott's birthday just happens to be on March 17th)
Snapshot of the city view from The Gravity Bar, the 7th floor of the Guinness Storehouse
We visited Saint Patrick's Cathedral and enjoyed the break from the rain
While Scott enjoyed his pints of Guinness, I was reminded that I do enjoy a pint of cider from time to time

And finally, thank you to all of the extremely friendly Irish people we encountered this weekend.  Their kindness blew us away and they made our weekend even more memorable.  It was also fun to visit an English speaking country, even if I did not always understand exactly what they were saying.
